Those using text-based browsers are able to use the tab key or the down-arrow key to move between choices and/or data entry fields. However, when using most graphical browsers you must move the mouse pointer to the circle representing the choice and click to choose.To move to the data fields, move your cursor to the box and click; a cursor will appear in the box, enabling you to use your Some data fields require specific input; they don't let you type in your own response. If you are using a text-based browser, you
can use your tab or down-arrow key to highlight this type of data field; then you press the enter key in order to see the pull-down
menu. Using the up- and down-arrow keys highlight the appropriate selection and then press the enter or right-arrow key. At the end of the form you will normally have two options, one to submit the form and one to clear the form (in case you want to
redo it). The following are typical of what you will find at the end of the form. If you have a text-based browser, use your
down-arrow key to highlight the desired operation, and press the enter or right-arrow key. These operations appear as buttons to
those with a graphical browser. |
